QG-3A Metallographic Sample Cutting Machine is suitable for the cutting of general metallographic and lithofacies sample materials. It is equipped with cooling path and switch, which can take away the heat of cutting by the prepared cooling liquid to avoid burning the sample. The machine operates easily and safely, is the ideal equipment in the metallographic laboratory. The spindle of the cutting disc is fitted on the rocker arm bearing seat, which is driven by the V-belt pulley. The feeding speed is determined by the speed of manual arm swing. Above the working table is the specimen quick clamp device. Pressure bar can move up and down, clamp and use easily. There is cooling liquid passing in the pressure bar. Under the pressure bar there is the working jaw. It has “V” slot for clamping the specimen. A diaphanous organic glass protective cover mounted on the working table is used for observing and protecting when cutting. There are in-out water path and cooling liquid switch in the machine. The consumption of the cooling liquid could be adjusted or closed according to the cutting requirement. Cooling water tank is used for storing the cooling liquid for recycling use. For cutting the specimen of the rock or ceramic materials, the diamond cutting disc should be used.
